CRAN Mission Statement
The Charlotte Reproductive Action Network (CRAN) is a network of organizations working towards reproductive freedom in Mecklenburg County, NC, and beyond. We do this by:
– Promoting collaboration, cross-movement networking, and community engagement on the critical issues of reproductive health, reproductive rights, and reproductive justice.
– Filling in gaps in access to care through community education and direct action support services (e.g., doula support, patient transportation, and dependent childcare) for those seeking reproductive healthcare – particularly historically marginalized and/or underserved communities.
– Amplifying the voices of community leaders and providing opportunities for constituents to connect with elected officials through policy, advocacy, and monitoring of legislative activity.
Together, we are CRAN.
